Red Stories is a YouTube infotainment format developed for the international biotechnology company CSL Behring. The series was designed to raise awareness of rare blood-related conditions such as von Willebrand syndrome (vWs) and HAE, and to increase early diagnosis by presenting personal stories and educational content in an accessible, emotional, and engaging way. Through a mix of live-action footage, interviews, and animation, topics like menstruation, illness, injury, family life, and chronic conditions were brought to life with a tone that balanced clarity and empathy.
As part of the production team, I was responsible for camera operation during filming, editing of episodes, as well as motion design and animation throughout the series. My work included animated transitions, explainer sequences, and interview or talk formats. The visual identity of the format relied heavily on mixed media and expressive, character-driven design elements that supported both storytelling and educational clarity.
The format was produced between November 2022 and May 2023 and published across YouTube and other social channels. It helped CSL Behring position itself as a credible, human-centered voice in the rare disease space — delivering content that felt authentic and approachable, without resorting to direct product communication. The videos were also repurposed for use in medical presentations, social campaigns, and internal communications, ensuring broad impact across multiple platforms.
